Hair Loss Products
Hair loss products are extensive, and range from over-the-count treatments to prescription and natural treatments. However, before you decide on the hair loss product that you want, you first need to discover the reason for the hair loss and the condition of your scalp. Once you begin to notice a patchy spot, or a sudden excess in hair loss, it is important to visit a dermatologist to asses the condition.
Some products, like herbal treatments, special shampoos, etc., may slow down the process of hair loss. Nizoral, an over-the-count treatment, has been shown to improve hair growth if you use a two percent Nizoral shampoo a few times a week. Another product, Dutastride, which is like Nizoral, has actually had better results over a six-month period. However, while one might work for someone, the other might not. That is why it is important for you to visit your doctor when you think you are experiencing hair loss, because they can recommend the best product for your success.
When considering which hair loss product to buy, remember to ensure that it is not only a cosmetic and temporary fix and analyze the ingredients of the product. Just because a company has invested money in an expensive advertising campaign, doesn’t mean that their product works. Typically, these products can help make your hair fuller or thicker, but has no stimulants to reverse hair loss or prevent further loss. Do research, consult with your doctor and you’ll eventually find a product that works best for you.
